The Neulengbach golf club is situated in a very special region of the Mostviertel – the so-called "Elsbeerland". The name "Elsbeere" (engl. service tree) is derived from an ancient cultivated fruit that grows on wonderfully gnarled trees, exceptionally well and densely here around Neulengbach. St. Pölten Golf Club – golfing in the capital of Lower Austria

The St. Pölten-Goldegg course built in 1988 was taken over by the GC 2000 Group in 2006 and converted into a highly modern 27-hole golf course. The showpiece and at the same time the home course of the GC St. Pölten is the beautifully situated Park Course with 18 holes and par 72, which offers fantastic views of the foothills of the Alps and whose fairways are partly located in the idyllic castle park. The 9-hole Castle Course (par 60) is the jewel among Austria's short courses. Like its big brother, the Park Course, the Castle Course provides breathtaking views over the alpine foothills (in particular from the 8th tee, the course's highest point) and over the idyllic Goldegg Castle. The practice facilities in St. Pölten offer the best conditions for perfecting your game. In the spacious and partly covered driving range you can practise long drives onto real target greens. Very close by is the chipping and pitching area with its own green and large sand bunker to develop a perfect feeling for the all deciding short game. Magnificent design, great location in the Ramsau region – the Adamstal Golf Club has already been awarded Austria's Golf Course of the Year five times by an expert jury, continuously ranks in the Top 2 most popular golf courses in Europe and has belonged to the Leading Golf Courses since 2002. The trip of roughly 40 kilometres from Schloss THALHEIM is therefore definitely worth it. Because as a guest at the Adamstal Golf Club you also have the choice between the 18-hole Championship Course and the 9-hole Wallerbach Course. All 27 holes have their own unique character: the designer Jeff Howes managed to skilfully integrate streams and terraces, forest clearings and rock formations into the impressive landscape. The variety-packed alpine foothills therefore define the rhythm of the fairways and greens in a totally natural way. Thanks to the up to five tees per hole the course is nevertheless fair for players of all abilities. One more bonus: both courses are suitable for e-carts – as a challenge should also be enjoyable.
